The NHS defines dyslexia as a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling. It’s estimated up to 1 in every 10 people in the UK deal with this condition, which is a lifelong problem that can present challenges on a daily basis.
Asher Hoyles, performance poet and author of “Raise Up The Low, Bring Down The Mighty”, joined the Saturday Brunch team to talk about how she works through the condition to inspire people who are oppressed or do not have a voice in their community.
