Ahead of the opening of Pinner High School in September 2016, the new school’s headmaster, Chris Woolf joined Shrey Puranik and Tony McNab in the studio for a chat on the Radio Harrow Sports Show.
To create a brand new school in an area that needs school places has always been Chris Woolf’s dream job. Chris explained how the new school came about through the support of 10 local high schools and discussed a variety of community and sport related subjects.
The new Pinner High School has a large premises based on the site of Heathfield School. With onsite playing fields and outstanding facilities that are being further enhanced through a £6 million refurbishment that includes creating a new Design and Technology suite and new ICT infrastructure and equipment, Chris described how the school is developing.
Pinner High School will open on the 1st September later this year, in the meantime Chris is recruiting new staff, writing policies and preparing to welcome his trailblazing new Year 7’s – listen to the full interview on our Mixcloud.
